There isn't one formula for making a memorable short film.  Yesterday's offering, "Bert," really focused on appealing character animation and storytelling.  Tim Burton's "Vincent," on the other hand, is all about the design and mood.  Call me twisted, but I love the animation when Vincent dangles his aunt over the cauldron of boiling wax.
