Krapooyo - organic abstraction

First of all - I love this character animation.  It's beautiful to look at.   The main thing "Krapooyo" teaches me, though, is how to handle abstraction. Much like Charlie Kaufman's films, this short creates a bizarre set of operating rules that govern this world.  Yet, once these "rules" are established, they are adhered to.  I prefer this kind of strangeness to say . . . David Lynch - where anything kind of goes.  There's definitely a story in here, and like yesterday's "The Switch," curiosity is what propels it.  What strangeness is going to happen next?  Enjoy.
